Cheers! to a new year and IBSIC #40

A new year and a new look over at the IBSIC challenge. The colors for this week are so lovely! Who would think to put sage, purple and blue together?! And who would think it could look so nice?! This is my spin on the photo.

Just to show you that "supplies" can turn up anywhere, I found a box of these little silk flowers, in all different colors, on sale in the housewares department. They had little yellow plastic centers in them. I took all those out and with a pearl, or brad, or tiny button in the middle they work great on cards. I like that they're not stiff and lie fairly flat so you can easily fit the card in an envelope.

And here's the IBSIC photo. You just feel yourself relaxing when you look at it...ahhhhhhhhh.

Material

Paper—Bo Bunny Ambrosia Pansies, G. Lalo cardstock.
Dies—Die-Namics rectangles, Artemio border, Verve Sunny Days leaf die
Stamps—My Favorite Things Oprah saying, Verve Sunny Days leaves
Embellishments—Pearls, Creative Déc clip, Stamperia ribbon

Your row of pretty flowers look like a cheery window box planter. Great find with the silk flowers.
