Oh la la! retro vintage card made with IBS Background Basics III and Big Notes in French stamp sets

Faites défiler vers le bas pour la version française !

Designer sneak peeks for Inspired by Stampings May release are in full swing! Today we're showcasing the new Background Basics III and Big Notes in French sets. I was so happy to see these new Big Notes sentiments in French. I am going to be using these a lot! What's so nice about this set is they're expressions anyoneFrancophone or Anglophone or any-phonecan use!

These Big Notes really show up! You don't have to squint to read them. Behind the Oh la la! stamp you see the letter stamp in the Background Basics III set. There are three fantastic stamps in this set, and all three work marvelously with my vintage ephemera. No paper to match your project? No problem—make your own using one of these stamps.

The stylish lady centerpiece of this card is an image from a 1950's fashion magazine. I used a stamp from Inspired by Stamping's Beautiful Ovals to frame her.

Inside isonce again—a "Big" stamp. This time Big Treasures. See how multi-functional these "Big" sets are? And really, when you look at the price, what a great buy!

I applied the two central pieces with foam tape to have them stick up a bit. The button is vintage and the flower is fancy cut from the paper.

With each of her May 6th—May 10th blog posts, IBS owner Joanna Munster, will be giving away a $25 gift card to the IBS store. Just leave a comment on her blog to be eligible to win, only one comment per person and each winner will be randomly selected.
