Looking for a couple vintage image for Valentine's Day? This French postcard dating to the early part of the last century (postmark is 13 or 23 February, 1908) would be perfect!
The original is in very poor condition and this is as clean as I can get it. For me this is not a bad thing, I like images with a patina. I used a cropped version on this card here and am sharing this version with you as well. Up to you to chose which you'd like to use. Notice the damsel's bare feet? The original has written at the bottom pour la beaute d'une fillette aussi pauvre que mignonette (for the beauty of a girl as poor as she is cute). Her clothing is tattered more in the original, which I mended a bit in the touch up.
