Practicing Creativity

Vintage Valentine and a few challenges

Attention, pour la version française, s'il vous plaît faites défiler vers le bas.

This vintage look valentine card is a hybrid of digital and traditional crafting. The topper image is one I've created. I scanned an old French postcard (the postmark date is 1908 or 1900, I can't be sure) and created a collage with it, using vintage sheet music as the background. I then added a sentiment with a shadow effect to make it stand out. I printed it and then reverted to hands on crafting.

I plan to share this image as my Friday Vintage Freebie this week, so if you'd like to have it check back on Friday.

I've used this week's sketch #327 from Passion Cartes Créative with this card and would like to enter it in the following additional challenges:

Cute Card Thursday challenge #305 So Cute! theme
Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge #106 Vintage theme

Material
Paper—cardstock, kraft, The Paper Studio Antiquity paper pack
Topper—mine
Dies—Die-namics corners and ovals, Memory Box Cherry Blossom, Spellbinders Foliage
