Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #14 "The Sky's the Limit"—Vintage Airplane Birthday card

This week's challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is "The Sky's the Limit". I decided to use an airplane image from an old book in my ephemera collection titled J. Staub Livre d'Images, a book for children published in 1923. I scanned the image, corrected it and cropped it to size.

The two map corners also hail from my own ephemera. This time an old Atlas de Géographie dated 1885. As with the plane image, I scanned the map, corrected and cropped to fit.

Both my outside and inside sentiments I did on the computer with Combat Ready BTN font.

Click on over and see what the other fab designers have for you this week at Cardz 4 Guyz. Better still, come join us and play along!

Material
Paper—cardstock, Paper Touch Scrap Dots, my vintage ephemera
Topper—from my own collection
Dies—Die-namics circles and Artemio Scalloped circle
Embellishments—pearls, ribbon
Font—Combat Ready BTN
