A Black Cat free digital stamp Halloween card

By Paperesse – a Halloween card created with free digital Opal Manor stamps, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils.

Here's wishing everyone a treat filled Happy Halloween! I've even bought some candy to give out this year just in case any of the neighbor kids come knocking on my door. Halloween isn't a holiday historically celebrated in France, but not all my current neighbors are French so I thought it best to be prepared (it's as good an excuse as any to buy chocolate, right?!). See my post on what Halloween is like in France (and some cute Halloween Treat bags) to know how this time of year is traditionally observed in France.

This Halloween card sent to my cousin in the States, uses two free digital stamps from Opal Manor – Hallocat and Pumpkin 01. I removed the white background from the cat stamp and placed him in front of the pumpkin. See my tutorial post on working with PNG images for instructions on how to do this.

I created the sentiment with Gigi font. The paper is from Tactile Design's (formerly Sassy Designs) Pumpkin digital paper pack. The little charm tied in the twine is a pumpkin.

  4. Ooooh Shani - another delightful creation! These papers together are such good choices and I absolutely love the shapes of your many layers. The images pop off the background with the clean white panel and your marvelous coloring. Love your blending and shadows on those two - and the cording and charm are a perfect finishing touch! Well done toots!
