French Valentine's Day card idea with LC Designs Heart Birds digital stamp

French sentiment Valentine's Day card with LC Designs Heart Birds digital stamp, design by Paperesse.

I whipped up this Valentine's Day card for one of our friends to give to his partner. I made a card for her to give to him HERE. I think it's kind of funny that they're both going to open their cards on Valentine's Day and both cards are from me.

The LC Designs Heart Birds digital stamp is the focal point. Paper is more from the grocery store bargain bin Valentine's pad I mentioned in my last post – super inexpensive and very cute. It's a double sided paper in a heavy cardstock, too. Is it just me or do more papers lately seem lighter weight and no longer double sided? Could just be me. I don't get the selection you guys in the States and UK, do (which is why I've gone digital, for the most part).

A bright pink bow and button dresses it all up. Sentiment's been created with Gale Force BTN font. And I think the sentiment's pretty obvious, huh, no translation needed.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, patterned paper
Digital stamp – LC Designs Heart Birds
Color – Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Embellishments – ribbon, button, thread
Font – Gale Force BTN

  1. Yes and yes, definitely lighter weight and one sided more often than they used to be.

Lovely card! That bow is amazing!

I think it's cute that their cards to each other will both be your creations. They know talent when they see it!

  3. Jan is right Shani! That vibrant, double bow is wonderful - lush, romantic and thank goodness it will be hand delivered so it maintains that fullmess! It's like a bow on a big, expensive box of chocolates! Well done toots!
