Baby Boy's 1st Birthday card idea

Baby Boy's 1st Birthday card, by Paperesse.

In the midst of last year's Christmas card making frenzy, a friend asked for a baby boy's first birthday card.

As always in emergency situations such as this . . . pre-colored digi topper to the rescue!!! This time from Cheryl Seslar's Bright Babies Birthday. I did take the liberty of adding the #1 to the balloon. Paper is from Tactile Studio Blueberry digital paper pack. Candy Round font was used to create the sentiment. Ribbons and buttons dress it up.

Sizzix's Baby Dresser die was used for the card base. I use this die a lot, just seldom in its true form (you can see variations on how I've used it HERE).

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, Tactile Studio Blueberry digital paper pack
Digital pre-colored topper – Cheryl Seslar Bright Babies Birthday
Dies – Sizzix Baby Dresser die, Die-namics rectangle and square stax
Embellishments – ribbon, buttons
Font – Candy Round BTN

  2. Step cards are so special and Shani you've really done a stellar job with this one. I love the chubby baby boy digi with his sweet pink cheeks, birthday hat and balloon. Oh so cute! Clever adding the #1 to the balloon, that's a nice touch. I also like the red white and blue background papers and card stock which lend a really jaunty look to this card. Thanks so much for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday "Masculine" Anything Goes Challenge this week.
