QKR Stampede Warming Up Christmas card

Christmas card featuring QKR Stampede Warming Up digital stamp, by Paperesse.

I've used QKR Stampede's Warming Up digi as the focal point for this Christmas card. As I've mentioned on a few posts now, I'm on a quest to pair Christmas images with humorous or punny French sentiments. I was rather proud of myself for coming up with this one – nos penseés les plus chaleureuses – literally  'our warmest thoughts' – which seemed to suit this tush toasting Snowman perfectly. Although the way this phrase is used in French would more appropriately translate to 'with loving thoughts'. Even my French husband, who didn't get my Escargot Christmas card right away, got this one.

I opted for a non-Christmas paper – Tactile Studio Whimsey digital paper pack – and since I liked the paper so much and couldn't decide which ones I wanted to use, I layered the heck out of it for maximum paper visibility. I think this one will have to be hand delivered; as it's on the heavy side I shudder to think what it would cost to mail.

Not wanting to distract from the pretty papers, I kept embellishments simple – a wooden snowflake and button.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, Tactile Studio Whimsey digital paper pack.
Digital stamp – QKR Stampede Warming Up
Color – Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Dies – Die-Namics square stax
Embellishments – wooden snowflake, button
Font – Candy Round BTN

  2. LOL! His melting buns amuse me - and a perfect sentiment! And you KNOW it works when your hubby gets it! Great choice of papers - you have such a knack for that. Between the lush layers and your smooooth pencil work, you have another winner Shani!

  8. Superbe ces papiers!!! Le bleu est ma couleur préférée, et il va si bien avec les bonhommes de neige... J'adore le message surtout quand on le compare avec le bonhomme qui se réchauffe les fesses. Très mignon!!

  11. So very fun!! Your snowman reminds me of myself, camping on cold nights. I roast my tush too!! Perhaps it's because my first language is English but I got the punny sentiment right away. :)
