This Week's Bouquet – Flaming Roses

This week I picked up a bouquet of flaming orange roses. I love the way the orange tips blend into the almost red base. They make me think of candle flames. I wish I knew what this type of rose is called. Any rose experts out there who know, feel free to pass along your expertise.

What I like about roses is the way they unfold, from a tight bud, to full flower, like unwrapping presents. I don't like a bouquet that doesn't fully open, I feel cheated when that happens. I've noticed that often my less expensive flowers open better than the more expensive ones.
