Welcome to December's Digi Stamp Diva – Annabel! Annabel, from Shropshire, United Kingdom, is the digital visual virtuoso of Knitty Kitty Digis.

I was surfing Etsy, checking out the digital stamp talent, when I came across Annabel's work. I was immediately smitten. Her furry friend images – both feline and canine – make me smile. Annabel graciously agreed to be December's Digi Diva and shared a little about herself and her creative process.

Knitty Kitties started life not as drawings, but as quirky hand-knitted cats Annabel made and sold at craft fairs. As their popularity grew, Annabel expanded her creations to digital designs with drawings based on her own gang of mischievous pets - Knitty Kitty Digis was born. Annabel's talented drawings have captured the antics of cats Georgez and Berts, and long-suffering doggy housemate Holly Poocherson, in digital form, ready for all your crafty projects – to download, colour, and enjoy.

An avid crafter, Annabel has a dedicated room in her home for paper crafting, needle felting and daily polychromo pencil colouring sessions. She admits to having far too many projects in her outstanding pile, but says she'll get to them all...eventually.

Annabel is an outstanding colourist; it is just amazing what she does with her pencils. You can see examples of her work on her Cartway Cards and Knitty Kitty Facebook pages (join her Knitty Kitty Facebook page for membership freebies and updates on new releases). You can keep up with all of Annabel's creative pursuits on her Wordpress blog. She also has a great FAQ page for colouring techniques.

Annabel is kindly offering her Koren's Cat digi free this month, exclusively to Paperesse readers. The stamp will be available for the month of December only; to receive your digi, please leave me a comment below, send an email to paperesse@live.com, and I will email you the stamp.

I couldn't wait to create something with this cutie, so I whipped up a December birthday card. The scarf makes you think Christmas, but really this can work for anything.

I added a generic digital PNG balloon to the image and created the sentiment with Pea Wolfe Tracks font. Paper is Lovecraft Let's Celebrate – retired – but I found it for only £0.50 on the *Every Craft's a Pound site (*note – I've never purchased anything from this site, but the prices are certainly right, shipping is too expensive for me in France, but UK readers might want to check them out). I added a flower paper ribbon and some pearls for embellishment.

Supply List
Paper – kraft card base, Love to Craft Let's Celebrate paper pack
Digital stamp – Knitty Kitty Digis Koren's Cat
Dies – no-brand oval die
Embellishments – flower paper ribbon, pearls
Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers and Caran D'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
