Across the Miles Valentine's Day Slimline Card

When I bought my stamp to mail this slimline card to the States, I was shocked to see my postage has gone up a whopping €0.46; it used to cost me €2.74 to mail a card weighing 20 to 100 grams, now it costs €3.20! Yikes!!! If this keeps up I may have to start specializing in CAS cards, or postcards – 20 grams is nothing in card weight.

The card's design is based on the one I used for this Mare-y Christmas card. I like this design. No dies are required and it's a nice vertical slimline rather than horizontal. I've found it's easier to accommodate vertical digis to slimlines. It's digi focal point is a freebie from Dearie Dolls – Snowy Valentine Mailbox. Mary Ellen isn't posting anymore, but she's kindly left her blog and all its freebies available.

Paper is Claire Fontaine's Scrap Dots, dressed up with a bit of ribbon and some hearts I picked up last Friday in Manor's sewing department sale bin for CHF 1.00. Annie BTN font was used to create the sentiment.
