Kokopelli Masculine Birthday Card

This card is for a male cousin of mine who at one time lived in New Mexico. He has always liked the Kokopelli image, so when I saw this Kokopellit digi from Pattie's Creations I knew it was destined to be his birthday card. I admit, I have a thing for Southwestern/Cowboy themed cards. I was raised in that part of the USA and most of my family still lives there. This Cactus Cowboy birthday card is a past favorite.

Kokopelli is revered by many Southwestern Native American cultures and is most often thought of as a fertility deity overseeing agriculture and childbirth. He's something of a trickster, too and represents the spirit of music, often portrayed with a flute to his lips.

I used a colorful digital paper from the now-defunct Tactile Studio to accent the vibrant image, adding a bit of ribbon and some enamel dots as embellishment. Undercurrent BTN font was used for the sentiment.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, digital paper
Digital stamp – Pattie's Creations Kokopelli Southwestern Tile
Embellishments – ribbon, enamel dots
Font –Undercurrent BTN
Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol ink markers
Art-n-Fly white pen
