I paid a visit to my favorite French outlet shop a few days ago. You never know what you're going to get there. They have everything from everywhere – clothes, furniture, housewares, electronics, books, wine, food, etc. and even...craft supplies! Frankly, most of my craft purchases (that aren't digital) come from there. The prices can't be beat. When I saw this table full of dies I went weak in the knees. I almost fainted from the shock. I normally find paper and embellishments there, not brand dies like this! I tried to exercise restraint and chose those I thought I could use the most. I checked the prices online when I got home and some of these Spellbinder dies were well over €20 and one was €35. The Creative Expressions ones were in the €20 range as well. These €2.00 dies at the front seem to be the no-brand type. I also picked up some embellishments; the little flowers and the tubes of buttons were €0.59 each.
All told I spent about €35 for these dies and embellishments, less than the price of the most expensive Spellbinder die I saw online. And I don't feel bad about buying at an outlet over an independent craft shop because...we don't have any here!
Wow well done Shani! A great bargain! I had a occasion when someone advertised their late Mothers craft stuff for £20. Included in it was about thirty dies and punches and a die cutting machine!
