Let's Get Basted Thanksgiving Card – Little Red Wagon #681

It's Doni's turn to choose the challenge at Little Red Wagon this week and she's saying, 'Let's eat!, which means she wants to see any kind of food. Grab a bite and come join us!

Before I go on about the card, I want to take this opportunity and wish all my fellow Americans a very Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow! As a Franco/American living in France, I have to admit I don't often observe the holiday in any outward way, but I have plenty of memories to warm my heart, and I do still enjoy sending cards to American friends and family. This now defunct Whimsie Doodles Let's Get Basted digital stamp is a Thanksgiving go-to. Oh, how I miss Whimsie Doodles! Humorous digis are the hardest to find and she had some truly funny ones (this  long ago Thonging Valentine is one of my husband's favorites).

Paper is bits and pieces from my scraps file. I've dressed up the digi with my ever faithful ric-rac die and some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, paper scraps
Digital stamp and sentiment – Whimsie Doodles Let's Get Basted
Die – Crafter's Companion Gemini Fancy Borders ric-rac, no-brand stitched rectangles
Embellishments – Ebony Black Nuvo Crystal Drops
Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers
Art-n-Fly white pen

I'm linking up with the following challenges: Crafting Happiness #136 – Thanksgiving or Anything Fall, TTCRD 22/11 – ATG, Digi Choosday WK 47 – ATG, The Paper Funday #47 – ATG, and Crafty Gals Corner #237 – Thankful/Thankyou.
