LRW #691 Valentine's Day Card Featuring Di's Digi Stamps Love Balloons Digi

It's Kate's turn to choose the challenge at Little Red Wagon and she's chosen the theme 'Somebody to Love'. Finish up those Valentine's Day cards or other love themed creations and come link up with us!

My  project this week is a Valentine's Day card I sent to my niece in the States. Although, given how long my cards take to reach the States anymore, it could very well become an Easter card. Cards used to take about two weeks on average to reach USA addresses from France (really it was more like 8 days). The last year I've been lucky if they get there in a month. It wasn't even this bad during the worst of the pandemic. I'm also receiving cards very late from the States, if I receive them at all. It's so frustrating.

Anyway, back to the card...I used Di's Digi Stamps retired Love Ballons digi as the focal point (Di's has some great Valentine worthy digis, e.g. the one on this Bit of Bubbly card). The paper is Bo Bunny Smoochable (longggg retired). I topped it all off with a heart shaped foam sticker and some ribbon. Candy Round BTN font was used for the sentiment.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock,  Bo Bunny Smoochable
Digital stamp – Di's Digi Stamps Love Balloons
Die –  Die-Namics square stax, no-brand stitched border strips
Embellishments – foam heart sticker, ribbon
Font – Candy Round BTN

I'm linking up with the following challenges: Di's Digi Designs Challenge 03/02 – Add One or More Hearts, Crafty Gals Corner #240 – Add a Heart, Double D Challenge 01/02 – Hearts, Fab 'n' Funky #566 – Valentine or Hearts, and Sisterhood of Crafters 08/02 – Hearts.

  7. Super sweet card! Perfect image to use on a card going in the mail. Love the printed ribbon too. I hear you about the mail. I mailed a Christmas card to a friend who lives just half and hour from me and she never did receive it. ):

  8. The sweetest Valentine with a most adorable little bear! I remember when international mail was surprisingly quick, but not anymore. I've noticed that mail crossing the midwestern US is very slow. Puzzling. It's heartwarming to see your darling card in our Hearts Challenge at Double D. Thank you for sharing with us!
