Patchwork Chicken French Merci (Thankyou) Card

Some neighbors invited us for dinner recently, and to thank them for the evening, I made them this patchwork chicken Merci (thank you) card. Madame has a thing for decorative chickens and I thought she'd like this this freebie digi from Beccy's Place – Quilted Chicken

Paper is from The Paper Studio Yarn & Thread Emporium paper pad (long, long retired). This is my go-to paper pad for patchwork/sewing themed cards, like this Patch Puppy one from a few years back that just happens to be a thank you card, too. Sentiment was created with Annie BTN font. A few button embellishments carry on the sewing theme.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, Paper Studio Yarn & Thread Emporium paper pad
Digital stamp – Beccy's Place Quilted Chicken freebie
Dies – no-brand stitched stamp edge and square
Embellishments – buttons
Font – Annie BTN
Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers
Art-n-Fly white pen

I'm linking up with: Beccy's Place Monthly Challenge Feb. – ATG w/BP image, Creative Fingers #248 – ATG, and Polkadoodles Wk6 – ATG.

  4. You have a wonderful eye for colour Shani, I really love this combo. The dark background is the perfect contrast for all the other lovely shades and you did a perfect job matching the markers. Love the cutting dies you used too. Wonderful!
    Cheers,
