Christmas Card With Candy Star Ted Di's Digi Stamps Digi

Today's Christmas card features Di's Digi Stamps Candy Star Ted digi (now on sale for just £1.00) surrounded by the circular sentiment I created for this Christmas card last year.

The snowflake embossed background paper uses a new no-brand embossing folder I picked up at an outlet shop for €0.99. I do like the way it looks, but it was tough running it through my die-cutting machine. I was afraid the whole time the crank handle was going to pop back and whack me on the hand (and ouch...that can hurt!). The red striped paper is a long ago magazine freebie. I dressed it up with a felt snowflake and a brad with the tines cut off (a good way to change an unused brad into a flat backed embellishment).

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, magazine freebie
Digital stamp – Di's Digi Stamps Candy Star Ted
Dies/Embossing Folder – Die-namics circle stax, no-brand stitched stamp edged square, snowflake embossing folder
Embellishments –Red Berry Nuvo Crystal Drops
Font – Annie BTN
Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers
Art-n-Fly white pen

I'm linking up with Di's Digi Designs Challenge 03/03 – Hand Colored Image, Polkadoodles Wk 9 – ATG, and Can You Handle the Pressure? 26/02 – ATG w/embossing folder.

  4. Adorable! The red and white with the pop of green is fantastic. I hear you about that handle flying back on you. I've had that happen a few times, but just once where I thought I might be actually hurt. Luckily, just a bruise. I did give my Cuttlebug the finger though. (:
