Ohé Ho! vintage Swiss song book journal

This is another journal made from an old song book that had definitely seen better days. This one dates to 1933. I reworked it, keeping some of the original pages and filling it with a variety of papers for photos and notes, plus pockets at the back for souvenirs.  A paper lace trim was added to the cover and back bottom edge and I varnished it for added shine and protection. I made this for a friend who is also a singer.  I had envisioned her using it to keep notes, mementos, and photos from her gigs.  So that she could easily add to it, I used ring binders.  Ribbon and treble clef charms adorn the sides and a pretty ribbon keeps it all closed.

This is a stunning piece of work, as are all your creations. Your friend is using it as a song book, mostly to enter her gigs and impressions of them. She stores it in a prominent place, on top of her bookshelf, where she sees it everyday. Thank you for this wonderful gift.
