IBSIC #44 Will you be my Valentine?

It's ISBIC day and I'm pleased as punch to be creating with my Inspired by Stamping stamps and dies. Of course the heart shape and color scheme in this week's inspirational photo put me in the mood for Valentine's day. There's also some sweet blog candy up for grabs, IBSIC is giving away a $25 gift card to the IBS store so be sure to check it out!

For my card I used stamps from January's releasethe IBS Just Because setcoordinated with stamps from the Be Mine collection to give it a real Valentine's Day feel (by the way, the Be Mine set is on sale right now!).

I love this label stamp, the background lettering and roses give it a vintage feel and it fits perfectly in the IBS Fancy Labels dies. I stamped in pink, took a tiny brush and worked in a little of the darker red ink I'd used for the sentiment, along with a bit of green here and there.

I used the bigger Be Mine Happy Valentine's Day stamp as my sentiment on the inside, along with more of my lipstick ribbon.

Isn't this ribbon great?! I picked it up at my favorite discount store. I can't tell you who makes it, there's no label on the roll, but it sure is cute. It's especially appropriate for me, I often wear red lipstick.
