Easter Bunny Basket card idea with 2 Cute Ink digital stamp

Easter card with 2 Cute Ink Easter Bunny Basket digital stamp, design by Paperesse.

The focal image on this card is another one of 2 Cute Ink's March club stamps – the Easter Bunny Basket digi (you can see another one of the March stamps here).

The paper is from a long ago magazine freebie pack, as is the little green bow (this just proves sometimes it does pay to hang on to these things).

The sentiment is die cut from a Cuddly Buddly Barbara Anne Williams Punny Animal Sentiments Two sentiment sheet. I've been using these circle sentiment sheets a lot lately; I used the same sentiment on this Easter card for my mother.

I've used the sketch from Sketchy Colors #267 as the base for my card design.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, patterned paper
Digital stamp – 2 Cute Ink Easter Bunny Basket
Color – Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Die – Die-namics oval and circle stax
Embellishments – ribbon, bow, sequins

I'm linking up with: Creative Moments #88 – Anything Goes with sentiment on front twist, Stamping Royalty #320 – Use Sequins, Crafty Sentiments – Easter challenge, and Deep Ocean Challenge #124 – Easter.

  3. Oh my Shani - LoVe the layering on this! You nailed the sketch but added even more layers to the basic format and the result is wonderful. The ribbons are delightful together and you are right, the little hoarded bow is perfect! You have a really good eye for colors. Oh, and the sequins are a great added touch!

  5. Très jolie carte Shani, il est adorable ce lapin et les couleurs très printanières, il fait penser au soleil, le vert tendre des arbres, la chasse aux oeufs de Pâques !!

  6. You followed this sketch so perfectly, and as always I love how you combine patterns and colors. Your image is colored so well, you do more with less color, your shading makes each image stand out amazingly. A true gift!
