Get Well card with free digital stamp from Bird's Cards

Get Well card with free digital stamp from Bird's Cards, by Paperesse.

This Get Well card's free turtle digital stamp from Bird's Cards is the perfect image to use on a card for someone recovering from back surgery, don't you think?! My cousin (the recipient and who is indeed recovering from said type of surgery) loved it; she said the turtle on its back was so appropriate and made her smile.

This is the first official outing for the Spellbinders corner dies I treated myself to at Christmas. I have some plain MFT Die-namics photo corners dies that I use all the time, as on this masculine card, but I wanted something a bit more frilly for 'girly' cards.

A word about this stamp – it's a GIF file and in order for me to size it as I wanted, I needed to convert it to a JPG file. It didn't take enlarging well and I needed to sharpen it a bit. It still has just a teeny weeny bit of fuzziness to the letters, something to keep in mind if you grab it for yourself.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, patterned paper
Digital stamp – Bird's Cards Back On Your Feet free digital stamp
Color – Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Die – Die-namics circle stax, Spellbinders corner dies
Embellishments – ribbon, button, twine

I'm linking up with: 613 Ave. Create #172 – Always Anything Goes, Lil Patch of Crafty Friends #32 – Anything Goes, The Ribbon Girls Challenge (17 April) – Anything Goes with ribbon, Dragonfly Dreams April – Spring is in the Air, and Cupcake Inspirations #356 color challenge (below).

Wonderful card, love the colours you have used and it looks like you printed up the digi on watercolour paper. Beautifully done, I have the image too but haven't used it yet, thanks for the heads up. Looks perfect here.
