Easy Fall Gluten Free Apple Crumble (or is it Crisp?)

Inspired by Christmas right around the corner, colder weather and fall's plentiful apple harvest, I've been in a baking frame of mind – time for apple crumble! I love a hot crumble right out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream; it just doesn't get any better than that.

I used a recipe I'd seen a while back from Sharon Lachendro's What the Fork blog, her Best Ever Gluten Free Apple Crisp recipe. Crisp...crumble? I've always called this sort of thing a crumble, but whatever you call it, it's delicious! Click on the recipe name there and the link will take you to the recipe I used and an easily printable copy. Warning! She has a plethora of delicious gluten free recipes on her site, be prepared to get sucked in to some serious recipe surfing.

Enjoy!

  1. I prefer a butterscotch ripple ice cream but vanilla works too. (; Looks yummy!
