This Studio Light Essentials Wordz XL Make a Wish cutting die was languishing away in an outlet store bin when I rescued it. It's been safely recuperating in my die drawer a few weeks now, but I think it's time for it to get busy; hence this card for a friend's upcoming birthday.
I like to combine these big word dies with a digital stamp, as I've done with this no-brand slimline Happy Birthday die. When I do this for the first time, I fiddle around with the digi sizing, printing out draft copies, until I get it just right, then I save the file. The next time I want to use the die, I just open the file, drag in my digi image as a new layer and size it to the same size as the saved image (the original layer). This way I know the sizing will be right so it's quick to do and there's no paper waste in printing. The app I use to do this is Affinity Photo 2.
Since this was this die cut's debut, I had to go through the aforementioned steps first, but now that I have a saved file, next time it will be easy peasy. My digi is Di's DigiStamps Hedgehog Balloons (retired). Patterned paper is from a €0.99 recently acquired Craft Universe paper pad. Enamel dots give a bit of bling.
