Making beautiful music and the Super 6!

First off, I'm so thrilled! One of my cards was selected for the week's super 6 on the Card Patterns Weekly Sketch blog. There were so many wonderful cards last week, I feel honored one of mine was chosen.

And moving right along – the card I'm sharing with you today is my 'favorite thus far' card.  I didn't plan this card at all and yet – it came together so nicely. The French sentiment stamped on this card, ensemble, means 'together'.  I thought that appropriate for this card and its music theme – making beautiful music (and cards) together.

The center 3D violin images were given in the Spring issue of the French card making magazine Créatif Spécial Cartes 3D.  This is the second card I've made using papers from that issue.  I was equally pleased with one I made using vintage look butterflies.

Material

Folia cardstock, Créatif Spécial Cartes 3D images, vintage sheet music, ribbon and button from my collection, Toga chipboard swirls, Artemio sentiment stamp, Aladine musical trim stamp, Paper touch by Claire Fontaine, file folder tag cut with Artemio die, Distress ink in Walnut Stain.
