Inspired by the colors of Rome

A friend asked if I could make her three personalized cards for special events coming up. Of course I said yes, I welcome any excuse to make a card.

I made this personalized birthday card using Mojo Monday sketch 233, inspired by this lovely card by Sarah's Creations. I've noticed when I'm doing something specific for someone, I'm less likely to be adventurous.

My color inspiration however, was all mine, or should I say Rome. I love the earthy building colors of Rome – terracotta, orange, gold and dusty pink. I worked up this color chart with a few of the images from our recent visit.

Material

Papers – G. Lalo cardstock, Laura Ashley, Artemio Firenze. Artemio and Alyssiane flowers, Alyssiane brads.

  1. Très beaux couleurs bien chauds comme l'été à Rome! Jolie carte!
