Why are cardinals perfect for Christmas cards? I think it must be the red factor. They do say 'Christmas' like no other bird. Paper is more of this Carta Bella Christmas Delivery paper pad I purchased right after Christmas last year. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I rarely buy any paper but digital, so that I bought this shows how much I like it. I've used it on two other cards to date – this Joy Christmas card and this Let It Snow Somewhere Else card (I'm getting my money's worth out of it).
My sentiment is from Kim's Digital Stamp – Twelve Christmas Greetings sentiment sheet. The greenery is from a no-brand die I purchased not long ago and is making its first appearance here. Matt enamel dots dress it up.

That evergreen die is going to become a favorite I predict! Works like a bow on your card, doesn't add a lot of bulk, made of paper and it will fit any Christmas card and maybe some others!! Good purchase I think! That Cardinal is a cutie and I love the plaid you layered with it. I kept thinking you could also paper piece the bird's scarf with that plaid too - another option for another card.
