Practicing Creativity

Merry Fishmas! & LRW #688

It's my turn hosting the challenge at Little Red Wagon this week and I've chosen the theme 'Sea You Then!', meaning anything goes with a sea associated theme – fish, beaches, shells, etc. Come on over and check out what the other girlfriends have made. We're looking forward to SEA-ing your creations!

I decided to dig out my step card dies for a sea themed Christmas card. The image is a one of several free Christmas Polkadoodles digis and sentiments offered by Papercrafter magazine on their website. I tend to associate the sea with summer, but there are some very cute SEAsonal Christmas greeting images out there, too (e.g. the digi on this Santa Claws card, which just also happens to be a step card).

Digital paper is Prettygrafik Baby Sharks & Ocean Fun. Embellishments are starfish and my trusty ric-rac die. Candara Light font was used for the sentiment.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, Prettygrafik digital Baby Sharks & Ocean Fun
Digital stamp – Papercrafter magazine Polkadoodles freebie
Dies – Crafts-too Presscut Step Card die, Gemini Fancy Borders Ric-Rac
Embellishments – starfish
Font – Candara light
Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers
Art-n-Fly white pen

I'm linking up with the following challenges: Allsorts Challenge Wk 711 – ATG opt Winter Blues, The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge #131 – ATG Christmas, Passion for Markers Wk 673 – Going Dotty, The Cutie Pie Challenge #178 – January Blues, and Digi Chooseday Wk 2 – ATG.
