Bright Happy Spring Card with Di's DigiStamps Tulips and Hogs Digi

Happy Spring card featuring Di's DigiStamps Tulips and Hogs digi, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils, by Paperesse.

Today I have the pleasure to once again be guest designing for Kleuren met Potloden (Coloring with Pencils). I've used the Tulips and Hogs digital stamp (retired) from one of our sponsors – Di's DigiStamps. Di's has the cutest hedgehog digis and I have a bunch of them. Rest assured that even though this one is retired she has plenty more cuties in her store. I wouldn't want to pick a hedgehog up (and you shouldn't, they're a protected species in France), but they sure are adorable to look at. We are fortunate to have some in the woods around our home. I've written more about my hedgehog – or hérisson as they're called here – admiration on this Hedgehog Snowy Post card from last June, which not surprisingly features another of Di's hedgehog digis.

I like how this card turned out and it is my favorite in this year's batch of Spring/Easter cards. The paper is from one of the six Craft Universe paper pads I recently picked up at our local Action store for only €0.99 each (as explained on this Easter Parade card post). The sentiment was created with Eras Light ITC font. Enamel dots and my ever faithful no-brand border and ric-rac dies top it all off.

If you're a pencil colorer come link up with us at Kleuren met Potloden this week. And remember...power to the pencil!
