I had one Last Minute Manda digi in my digital stamp repertoire that I bought quite some time ago and have yet to use. I purchased said digi on Etsy. As I was looking at something else on Etsy the other day I had a notification that LMM had a digi bundle offer for ALL her pre-2025 digis for €11.66. I decided to go for it and bought the bundle. Believe me when I say there are a BUNCH to choose from. They're not all to my taste, but there are enough to justify the purchase. This Franklin's Summer Treats digi is one such.
This is another of my Happy Summer cards with a Happy 4th sentiment tucked inside. This went to an expat American friend who lives in the neighboring town. Popsicles and summer just seem to go together don't they? I've got a couple of sumer cards on the blog featuring them. This paper pieced one from a few years back is a past favorite.
The papers are from my scrap drawer; with a card this small (10.5 x 14.8cm) I can usually find something that will do. I have no idea where this popsicle paper comes from. I searched the blog but couldn't find it. I think I may have printed it out and just didn't use it. Ditto for the yellow gingham. Anway, they were perfect for this project. I dressed it up with my no-brand border strip and ric-rac dies with a sprinkling of enamel dots. The sentiment was created with Dom Casual BT font.
Such a "sweet" summer card! I love the cute image and the bright papers are so pretty. Thank you for playing with us at The Creative Crafters Challenge. I hope you can join us again soon.

what a cute popsicle card with bear for summer theme, thank you for sharing with us at Sparkle
ReplyDeleteFantastic card, Shani! Such lovely summer colours. Okay, confession....(and feel free to delete this comment, I won't mind at all)....at first glance I thought the bear was giving the middle finger. I know the popsicle isn't even the same colour as his fur, but the shape and the bear's slightly sassy stance.....
ReplyDeleteHihihihihi...now that you mention it, it kinda does!
DeleteOh he's just adorable - and ice lollies are perfect on summer days! Thanks for playing along at Sparkles Challenge

Such a darling card! So glad you were able to find a number of “to your taste” images in the bundle. This little one is to my taste too (even after reading Jan’s comment)!
