Vintage book for the 1913 German Housewife

I love all kinds of paper – old or new – it makes no difference.  I have so much vintage ephemera; I know I can never use it all.  But, that doesn't deter me from buying more.  I picked up this 1913 domestic how-to guide for German housewives recently in Switzerland for only six Swiss francs (about $6).  It is full – FULL – of charming images of that epoch.  The photo doesn't really show, but it is a thick book too, around 750 pages.  My mind reels at the potential these images have.  I was hooked by the cover:

love at first sight . . .

then these page headers . . .

and section breaks like these. . .

This is just a sample.  There are illustrations and tips for personal beauty, sewing patterns, child care, etc.  I only wish I read German.
