I'm a big fan of quotes. I'm forever seeing one on the internet, in a magazine or book, and jotting it down on a piece of paper. But, these bits and pieces of paper were piling up; so, I thought I would gather them all in one journal. For the outside covers, I took vintage images from an old French magazine ad and adhered them to chipboard. The inside covers are My Mind's Eye Lush Brown Floral Paper. I applied varnish for a polished look, attached an elastic band to keep it closed, inserted my pages, and bound it with my Zutter Bind-it-all.
I thought this rather an appropriate ad. It says in French "I write everything...with the point of a Bic".
