A quick, inexpensive gift—a beaded bookmark!

I always keep these bookmark 'blanks' on hand. They make super easy, quick gifts for every book lover on your list—male or female. They don't take many beads, so they're relatively inexpensive to make. You'd never guess that though from the final effect. I was talking to my mother about this one I'd just made for a friend. "Make me one for my birthday," she said. So I did! This time I chose an antique brass finish bookmark and delicate pink and blue beads that coordinate just perfectly with the square glass bead at the end.

Material

Metal bookmark, beading wire, eye pin, beads and spacers.
