Going Away Card featuring Di's Digi Stamps Dog Gone Cutie Pals Digi

One of the nice things about living in/near Geneva, Switzerland is its international community. You meet people from all over the world working in the United Nations, major NGOs, banks and large corporations. The downside is that people come and go as they're transferred somewhere else, or return to their home countries after retirement.

Such is the case with a dear friend of mine who is returning to the UK after her husband's retirement. As I've mentioned before, I'm part of the American International Women's Club in Geneva, as is my friend (that's how we met). She also attends the AIWC neighborhood coffee that I lead. Which is where this card comes in. I thought it would be nice if she could have a going away card from all of us at the coffee. Even though I can't get all the ladies together to get everyone to sign, I've listed all our names inside, just to let her know how much we're all going to miss her.

The digi is Di's Digi Stamps Dog Gone Cutie Pals (retired). The design used is from this Autumn Birthday card. Paper is Craft Sensations Sunshine & Daisies Design pad. I've used Amelie font for the sentiment. Wooden flower embellishments with center pearls mimic the paper design and nicely tie it all together.
