One sheet of paper mini-album

A few months back I dropped off a friend's birthday gift and while I was there snapped off a few photos as she was opening it. Later, I took the photos and made a nice little mini-album to commemorate the event and her lovely smile.

I used this super economical template by Artemio. It uses only one 12" x 12" sheet of scrapbook paper and it's a breeze to make! Of course I dressed this album up a bit, so I used more than one sheet to decorate it, but you don't have to. If you want just a simple design you can stick with one sheet.

I incorporated a ribbon in the design to keep it closed. I oxidised an Artemio metal label (around the date) with a copper green patina and made flowers from standard five petal flower punches.

There's a mix of paper throughout – Kaisercraft, Graphic 45, Folia, vintage sheet music – all edges distressed with Distress Old Paper ink. I typed up different birthday sayings and added captions to the photos, then printed them out and cut with the template. I used my favorite Toga swirl stamps to dress up the pages.

And there you have it – a mini-album base made with just one standard sized sheet of scrapbook paper!

Material

Artemio Heart mini-album template. Paper – Kaisercraft, Graphic 45, Folia, vintage sheet music. Stamps –Toga. Embellishments – Artemio metal label, ribbon.
