Birthday Card with Vera Lane Studio Party Dee

I've got a birthday card for you today with Vera Lane Studio's Party Dee digi and sentiments bundle. I like VLS's Dee character; her sassy femme d'un certain âge character makes me smile. There are three cheeky sentiments in the bundle and other digi accessories – a birthday cake and party hat; I added the party hat. I also masked the lines around her mouth (if you look at the original, you'll see those aren't shown here) as I personally don't care for those. Other past Dee creations have included: Vampire Dee, Dee's Feast (Thanksgiving), Witch Dee, Mama Dee (Mother's Day),  and Holidee (a 2025 Christmas favorite). I do make sure that whomever I send these to has a good sense of humor; some folks might not appreciate them quite as much as I do. The friend I sent this to however, loved it, so mission Birthday Laugh accomplished!

Paper is digital leftovers from previous projects long languishing in my scraps box (the Happy Birthday paper was first used a decade ago on a Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine commission I did). My generic border and Gemini Fancy Borders ric-rac dies, with a sprinkling of enamel dots, top it all off.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, left scrap paper
Digital stamp and sentiment – Vera Lane Studio Holidee bundle
Die – generic stitched rectangle and border, Gemini Fancy Borders ric-rac
Embellishments – enamel dots
Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Gelly Roll .08 white pen
Pentel .05 black fine line pen
