Merry ChristMOOSE card featuring Digi Web Studio Mike the Moose stamp

Merry ChristMOOSE card, by Paperesse.

I've used a retired Mike the Moose digital stamp from Digi Web Studio as the focal point for this punny Christmas card. Digi Web Studio has quite a selection of both pre-colored digis (i.e. this Swiss Christmas Cow card) and uncolored digital stamps.

The paper is from Folia Motifblock's Christmas paper pad. I thought the reindeer paper went perfectly with Mr. Moose (even though they're not moose they're the same family, right?).

Embellisments are a turquoise blue felt snowflake and red button. I was glad to finally use one of these snowflakes from my stash. Let's face it, turquoise blue snowflakes don't go with just any 'ole thing.

Supply List
Paper – cardstock, Folia Motifblocks Christmas paper pad
Digital stamp – Digi Web Studio Mike the Moose (retired)
Color – Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Dies – Die-namics rectangle stax
Embellishments – felt snowflake, button

  1. A skiing moose! You never do know what the animals are up to when we're not looking, huh? :)

I love how the colors of the papers match the colors on the moose. Really pulls this card together beautifully.

Thanks for sharing with us at The Merry Christmas Challenge Blog!

  2. Love this fab moose. Beautifully coloured and the background paper and cheeful blue snowflake just add to the folksy look of this card. As a Canadian I'm kinda partial to Moose and this one is right up there on my "really like list". Thanks so much for sharing with us this week at Watercooler Wednesday's "All About Christmas" Anything Goes challenge.

  3. What a good one! I love the very light touch on the coloring of the moose - it looks like he is covered in a light dusting of snow! Best of all, your use of the red and turquoise CS that makes those two colors just pop on your image! Super contrast for the shadows on him... his belly and nose are both so 3D!
