Happy Easter to everyone observing the holiday this weekend. Although France and Switzerland really aren't very religious countries, this holiday is still a popular one for us as both Friday and Monday are official holidays in Switzerland, while in France it's Monday (Friday is also an official holiday in the three eastern departments of Haut-Rhin, Bas-Rhin, and Moselle) which means lots of folks are taking advantage of the extra long weekend and doing a bit of traveling. Not a weekend to take the train or be on the autoroute.
I only did one Easter card this year (although I like very much the Bunny Spring one I did do) as I find I now prefer Happy Spring themes. Using spring as a theme allows more time for it to arrive without being late :-). This card features another adorable image from Di – Willow Bunny. I've used it for Happy Spring, but it would work for just about any occasion. The dotted paper is from an Amazon Haul paper pack called The Basics while the floral paper is a Craft Universe unnamed pad. The black pearl topped felt butterfly embellishments I've had forever and a day and am glad to finally use them. The circular sentiment was created with Cafe & Brewery font and if you'd like to have it for yourself, see my last Tulip Mouse Happy Spring card where I posted it as a freebie.
Embellishments – felt butterflies, black pearls
Font – Cafe & Brewery
Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils
Gelly Roll .08 white pen
