Say Cheese! gender neutral birthday card

So tell me...do you think this is a rat or a mouse? To me it's a rat. The QKR Stampede digi title is Mr. Innocent and he does look a bit cheeky, doesn't he?! The unconventional look of QKR Stampede stamps appeals to me. Search the blog by QKR Stampede and you'll see what I mean. I like that the characters aren't all cutesy, are adult oriented, gender neutral, and some are downright funny (as on this Sunbathing Potato Happy Summer card).

I used paper I've had for so long I don't even remember when/where I got it. It's called Residence and it's from the French brand Kesi'Art. It's retired, but still available online in France (si vous en tombez amoureuse, je l'ai trouvé encore en vente sur le net).

I used no-brand stitched rectangle and square dies. These inexpensive Chinese dies cut great, I just don't use them often as there aren't enough dies in each set to layer with smaller borders, and as you've probably noticed, layering's kinda my thing. The sentiment was created with Mister Sirloin BTN font. Enamel dots give texture and color.

You are right, I’ve used this image also, Bu i’m not sure what he is. I looked at the sunbathing potato I hadn’t seen that one before.

  5. This is hilarious - he is a rat for sure. Only a rat would have a cheeky grin like that. Thanks so very much for joining us this time at the Crafty Creations Challenge, Elizabeth (DT)
