Hetty Clare Message Mouse Thank You (Merci) Card

This Merci (thank you) card uses another new Hetty Clare Art's digi stamp – Message Mouse. There are two versions provided with this stamp; this one I used and another with balloons attached to the sign. I like these type of digis with a character carrying a sign. You can use them in so many different ways. I used this one for a thank you card, but it could just as easily have been a birthday, especially if you use the digi with the balloons.

If you remember, Hetty Clare Art's illustrator, Helen, was the November Digi Stamp Diva and I mentioned at the time I'd stocked up in her sale and that you'd be seeing more of her designs on Paperesse. No kidding!  Let's see...in addition to the Diva post, there was this Christmouse Deck the Halls card, then this CAS card featuring her Christmas Tree House digi, then the Penguin-ing to Look a Lot Like Christmas bookmark, and a slimline Mare-y Christmas card. So that's six in two months including today's!

It's the first outing for these new jagged edge rectangle dies. I purchase these inexpensive no-brand type dies on Amazon and eBay and have quite the collection. I have to admit they cut very well  and for the price, can't be beat (this set was €3.21). Pay attention to the measurements given, though; they are often smaller in reality than you'd think from the photos. This card, for example, measures 10cm x 13cm. Be prepared to wait a bit to receive them, too. As they're coming from China, they can take a few weeks to arrive.

  9. Where to begin? I love the jagged edge rectangle dies you used, even though they didn't cost much. They give an interesting 'edge' (what a bad pun) to the card. The mouse is so cute, and right away, she reminded me of books I read to my girls when they were little, called Angelina Ballerina. There was also a cartoon show of Angelina, and my two loved to watch it.
