Happy Spring Card With Pink Gem Bunny in a Plant Pot Digi

A Happy Spring/Easter card with Pink Gem Bunny in a Plant Pot digi, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance pencils, by Paperesse.

This is actually a multi-tasking Spring/Easter card. Since I have no idea anymore how long my overseas cards will take to arrive (anywhere from a week to a month plus), I'm being more creative with my inside sentiments so that if they do arrive late, they're still appropriate. Things like, 'Happy Spring! Here's hoping you have/had a Happy Easter, too.' The present tense/past tense verb combo covers both Easter bases and by wishing a happy spring I know at least it will still be spring when they get it (probably). I'm trying to plan ahead as well and get cards done earlier, but that's a work in progress.

I've used my Studio Light Die Essentials 257 small card/envelope die set for this card. I really like this set and have been using it a lot lately (e.g. this Bella Bear Christmas card). I like it's smaller size and the quick, easy envelope die that comes with it (I forgot to photograph the envelope here...darn!). I picked this up last year at my favorite outlet shop for only €3.99. No doubt about it, I'm getting my money's worth out of it.

The digi is Pink Gem's Bunny in a Plant Pot. Paper is Dovecraft Blooming Lovely paper pad (retired, like all my papers). Dhanikans font was used for the sentiment and a sparkly little carrot sticker tops it all off.

  8. Good idea with the sentiment! I recently sent a birthday card overseas that seemed to take a scenic route, arriving later than anticipated.

Your spring card is lovely and, even though all aspects are fabulous, that little snail has stolen my heart.
