Happy Summer Card with Di's DigiStamps Summer Kitty Fun Digi

Happy Summer card with Di's Digistamps Summer Kitty Fun digi, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils, by Paperesse.

I didn't do any 4th of July cards this year for friends and family back in the States; I opted for Happy Summer cards instead. That way they won't be late! Inside the cards I covered all my bases by wishing them a happy 4th or hoping they had a happy 4th if the card arrives after the fact.

Cats seem an apt choice for summer cards; their lounging nature is a perfect match for lazy sunny summer days. This circular summer card with a parasol cat digi freebie is a past favorite. Today's card features a new digi – Summer Kitty Fun – from Di's DigiStamps and the first outing for this new wonky stitched square die which (as with the new wonky stitched circle die you've seen me use recently) fits perfectly inside a larger Die-namics square stax die (yeah!). My paper is a mix of Max Bringmann Potpourri paper pad and a leftover scrap from my scrap bin. Enamel dots and my no-brand border and ric-rac dies top it all off. The punny sentiment was created with Corbel font.
