This Dr. Digi's Holly Jolly Horace digi just cracks me up and is made for a sarcastic sentiment (my favorite kind). I used it for the first time in 2020. I think we can all agree 2020 was a tough year and my Horace card that year set the perfect holiday tone. It's interesting to compare the two colorings – this one uses pencils while the 2020 one used markers.
I raided my paper scraps bin for the papers, a blend of printed digital and purchased papers. Favorite velvet brads with the tines cut off (the only way I ever use a brad) serve as embellishments. The sentiment was created with Ink Free font.
A great and funny card!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful colored grumpy guy Shani, I love the combination with the sentiment. Thank you for joining the challenge at Kleuren met Potloden.

Such a fun card - although I'm not sure I'd like to meet him in a pub! I really like the look of the pencil colouring. And great job with all the papers as they all coordinate fabulously!
ReplyDeleteOooo I have a son that acts like that until the presents come out, he is such a baa humbug, I love your papers here Shani all the reds and patterns are perfect with each other..

ReplyDeleteIt's great that you're participating in the kleuren met Potloden Challenge.
I've been following you for a while now and I keep trying to become a follower, but unfortunately, it never works. I keep getting an error message. I've been having this problem for a while and can't follow other blogs either. I hope it works out sometime. But I'll definitely keep following you, even if I'm not a follower of yours. Hehe.

Haha, what a fantastic card! Horace looks absolutely disgusted to see holly in his beer. So much fun!
