Happy New Year! Vera Lane Studio Christmas Chicken Holiday Card

Happy New Year Everyone! My very best wishes to all for a bright and prosperous 2026, filled with happiness for you and your families.

This will be my last post for 2025 Christmas/Meilleurs Voeux cards. Normally I have some left over I post after New Year's, but not this year. For various and sundry reasons, I didn't even get all my French holiday cards done. In fact I even resorted to sending e-cards (GASP!). Although not as nice as a homemade card by any means, I daresay Jackie Lawson e-cards  have some very impressive animation. 

This particular Meilleurs Voeux card is going to my favorite neighbors. Madame has a thing for chickens and I know she'll get a kick out of this one. The digi is from Vera Lane Studio Christmas Chickens. I used this same digi on an English card HERE. Which one do you prefer? I admit, I like the English one. I couldn't use the punny sentiment with the French one.

Just an aside on Meilleurs Voeux cards in France...they are traditionally sent after the New Year (you can send them earlier though, which I normally do). You can read more about French Holiday card giving in this post.

The super cute Holly Jolly Hen House digital paper is from Julie Lopez Graphics. My trusty generic ragged edge dies made for an easy design that I topped off with a wooden snowflake and pearl (my favorite holiday card embellishments). The sentiment was created with Leftovers font.
