Valentine's Day Card Featuring Di's Digi Stamps Pussycat Presents Digi

Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I'm making my cards now to get them done and in the mail. As I mentioned on my last post, I enjoy making Valentine's Day cards for friends and family members, not only my significant other (this Across the Miles on Valentine's Day card is one such). I also have the pleasure to be guest designing today for the Kleuren met Potloden challenge (Coloring with Pencils). If you're a pencil colorer come join the fun and link up! Power to the pencil!

I've always liked Valentine's Day. As a kid growing up my mom always gave us cards and a heart box full of chocolate and then she bought us those boxes of little Valentines that we gave out in class (remember those – do they even do those anymore?). Hubs and I normally go out to lunch (less people/less expensive than dinner) and we swap cards, but we don't go in for extravagant gifts. And as for chocolates, we don't really even do that, as we've always got a stash somewhere in the house (you have to be prepared for chocolate emergencies, am I right or am I right?). IMHO after Valentine's Day is the time to buy chocolate, when they go on sale.

Today's card for my niece and family features Di's Digi Stamps Pussycat Presents digi. My niece likes cats so I thought she'd appreciate this one. These are the kinds of digis I like, ones that you can use for lots of different occasions. If you like it, too, do click on the link there and snag one for yourself as Di's having a 50% off shopwide sale just 'til 31 January. Paper is Love to Craft Lots of Love paper pad, picked up on sale quite a while back and having its first outing today. The sentiment was created with Arial font with little red hearts completing the Valentine's Day theme.
