Small Christmas cards in shades of silver & blue

I can always justify my numerous magazine subscriptions not only for the visual inspiration they provide, but also for their free gifts. With the November issue 123 of Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine, they have a lovely paper set by Jennifer Ellory in shades of blue and gray.

Now it just so happens that I have a bunch of small envelopes in a silver metallic paper that match perfectly. Allowing for the size of my envelopes, I used the paper and made 8 small cards measuring 9 x 12 cm. Not bad actually, when you consider that this is roughly half my Christmas card list. To keep my postage costs down, I've kept embellishments to a light weight minimum.

Inside, I've used a greeting in both English and French and finished up with a bit of the matching paper each card was made with.

Material
PaperCardmaking & Papercraft Jennifer Ellory Christmas paper, cardstock
Embellishments—ribbon, pearls, metal photo corners, snowflakes, rhinestones

  2. Elles sont toutes belles Shani! Le bleu est ma couleur préférée et même si vous restez dans le monochrome, et les rennes, chaque carte et unique! Félicitations, beau travail!!
