Extra large A4 card made with Lucy Cromwell card kit

A friend asked if I could make a special birthday card for her niece who's a bit down in this moment and needs cheering up. She asked for something different, something that would stand out. Ah...I knew just the thing! I've had this Papermania Lucy Cromwell A4 card kit for sometime, waiting for just the right person to make it for. This isn't my best photo shoot, I know, but this A4 (slightly taller than a USA 8 1/2" x 11" page) beauty was too big for my light box. I punched a whole on the decoupaged image, tied a twine bow and hung a charm from it. I glued tiny pearls in the flowers. See the flower and bow on the bottom sentiment? These I fussy cut from the packaging cover sheet (waste not!). In person the decoupage 3D effect really stands out, but as is always the case, doesn't in a photo...phooey.

The sentiment inside is a poem my friend wanted to use. The ribbon is paper and fussy cut from the kit. I couldn't center the poem, or it would have shown from the front, just in case you're wondering.

Material
Paper/topper—Papermania Lucy Cromwell A4 card kit (PMA 150500), cardstock
