Gluten Free Santa Christmas Card

This is the second time I've made this free Santa coloring page/digi a gluten free one. I made a French version back in 2018 for a gluten sensitive friend and now this one for my cousin, who recently discovered she is gluten sensitive. Since it's always a bit difficult this time of year for those of us who don't eat gluten, I think it's nice if we can laugh about it. I prefer funny cards to serious ones and Christmas is no exception. Although, it's not always easy for me to come up with funny French sentiments (this cussing Santa stuck in a chimney card is a fav).

This isn't your traditional milk and cookies Santa and how he's colored reflects that. In addition to being gluten sensitive, this Santa is showing his ecological tendencies with a green suit.

Paper is from Folia's Folklore paper block. It is a gorgeous paper pad, full of color. I like these Folia papers, they're good quality and the extra large size (24 x 34 cm) makes them a very good buy indeed. The sentiment was created with Bell Gothic Standard Black. Some shiny red gems give a bit of bling.

  1. Tee hee! Santa maybe should have asked before he ate half the cookie. Delightful card, Shani! I love seeing Santa in a colour other than red. Such pretty papers too!

  2. This is so fun! My sister is Celiac and my best friend is gluten sensitive so I love the idea of adding humour to Santa trying out his cookies and milk. Love it!

Thanks for joining us at Little Red Wagon this week!
