How to Upcycle Faded Decorative Cardboard Boxes

Decorative cardboard boxes makeover – before & after.
I bought these decorative cardboard boxes several years back during a trip to the States. Although very popular in the USA and easily found, that is not the case here. These that I have had become faded by the sun and needed sprucing up. I took a break in my wall painting this summer and did just that.

I'm moving towards more color in my home decorating and wanted something that would pop. I decided to use Décopatch paper. Décopatch is a popular French craft product and folks do some amazing things with it. It works great on just about anything, like these earrings and brooch I created with it. I used a black and white animal print and yellow Décopatch paper.

I was quite pleased with how they turned out.
