Last minute Christmas cards and Decontructed Sketch No. 80

Some cardmakers are just so organized. When December 1st rolls around they already have all their cards made. Alas . . . I'm not one of them. And since I'm not, I'm trying to rush a bit so that I can get my cards in the mail for their big trip across the pond, hoping they arrive in time for Christmas.

The images and papers I've used were a gift with the December issue 48 of Creative Cardmaking, one of my favorite magazines. I thought they were so cute and I liked their bright colors. Now enter this week's Deconstructed Sketch No. 80. When I saw it I thought it would be a perfect match for these images and it turns out I was right! I did assembly line card making and made three.

There's the Snowman.

And the little Tweety bird.

And my favorite—Mr. Polar Bear.

That's three down! I'm getting there.

Paper and images—Creative Cardmaking issue 48, Mahé Vert d'eau, cardstock, doily. Dies—Die-namics banner dies, Artemio circle dies, Verve banner die. Stamps—Verve poinsettia and Super Dad set. Embellishments—Artoz pearls, ribbon. Miscellaneous—stencil, Distress Barn Door ink, gold glitter glue.
